All hygiene measures in a specialist practice are intended to prevent the possible transmission of pathogens by inactivating or killing them in advance.
The aim is to avoid a treatment-related risk of infection for the patient (m/f/x), the treating specialist (m/f/x) and the staff (m/f/x). These comprehensive hygiene measures are also referred to in specialist jargon as practice hygiene.
